TAG Late War Germans

These are lovely figures.  Well-proportioned, animated poses and nicely sculpted.  I love the NCO with the Soviet PPSh SMG - he comes free with the Late War German offer set.

I had some problems finding the right colour match for the late war uniforms.  According to Osprey MAA 336 - The German Army 1939-45 (5), the new Felduniform M1944 issued on 25 September 1944 was made of inferior quality cloth in a browner green-grey shade (the so-called Feldgrau 44).

I could not find the right shade despite mixing many combinations of Vallejo German field grey, khaki, English uniform and brown.  I finally settled on Vallejo camo pale violet brown 825.  It's not a perfect match (needs a touch more green), but I think it's close enough.

Vallejo German field grey can still be used since the old cloth was also used to make the new Felduniform M1944.  I have mixed in the old field grey among the figures below to add some variety.
