WW1 Australian Light Horse

After watching the movie "The Lighthorsemen", which dramatizes the exploits of the 4th Light Horse Regiment in the Gaza campaigns of 1917, and culminates in their spectacular charge at Beersheba, I just had to paint up my own unit of Lighthorsemen. 

On the whole, it's a great movie, but possibly the most irritating line from the movie is "Those aren't cavalry, they're Australian Light Horse..."

These figures are from Brigade Games and were sculpted by Artizan's Mike Owen.
